At South Bay, we offer a customized ministry interview where you'll learn your SHAPE (Spiritual Gifts, Heart/passions, Abilities, Personality, and Experience). Together, this is how God has SHAPE(d) you for ministry.
As your SHAPE unfolds, you'll quickly see which ministry is right for you, and this process will guide you into a successful ministry journey that is enriching, fulfilling, life-changing, and very exciting.

Ready for Ministry?
You may jump in without a SHAPE Discovery.
Some people are ready for ministry and don't feel the need to go through a SHAPE discovery, and we're okay with that.
If you're ready to serve or know where you'd like to serve, feel free to jump right in.
Servant Evangelism is our way of demonstrating the kindness of God by offering to do some act of humble service with no strings attached.
It usually goes something like this:
"Hi, would you like a regular or diet?" (Soft Drink Giveaway) "Oh, regular, thank you! This is so nice. I can't believe this is for free. Why are you doing this?"
That's it! Do that, and you've reached someone with the love of Christ! It's simple, practical, effective, inexpensive, and fun!
Small things done with great love will change the world. It wins the heart, establishes relationships, and provides opportunities to share Jesus in a profound way that bypasses mental defenses.
