Matt Horne

Lead Pastor

Matt Horne is the Lead Pastor of South Bay Bible Church. Matt attended Liberty University, where he studied Pastoral Leadership with minors in Biblical Studies and Vocal Performance. He is deeply passionate about spiritual formation and discipleship within the local church body.

Pastor Matt primarily oversees our Small Groups and Discipleship ministry, Evangelism ministries, and the Leadership Development program. He emphasizes the importance of gospel-centered community and believes that we grow and lead best when we do it together.

Gerry Strebel

Administrative Assistant

Gerry joined SBBC shortly after the church's founding in 2008. As our administrative assistant, Gerry works closely with all staff members. Prior to joining SBBC Gerry worked in management positions within the banking and finance industries. Gerry attended Hofstra University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Kelli Schoefer

Communications Director

In addition to serving in our Worship and Photography ministries and attending South Bay as a member, Kelli is also a member of our staff.  As Communications Director, Kelli ensures that our local and online communities are informed of all of our outreach programs and events.
