Community Groups

At South Bay, we believe we do everything better when we do it together, and that includes fol-lowing Jesus. That’s why we believe in authentic, gospel-centered relationships. In order to guide you through your life with Jesus, we have weekly community groups.

Community groups at South Bay exist for following Jesus together and building a better community. We want to see you flourish in your life with Jesus, but we don’t want you to do it alone. Community groups are where we find encouragement and help for the journey. We pray for each other, read scripture together, check in on each other, and cultivate deep, strong relation-ships with one another. We’ll discuss how God is working in your life, what you’re learning in your reading of scripture, where God is stirring your heart in prayer, and how we can love our neighbors.

You can join a community group no matter your story, where you come from, or your level of church background/biblical understanding. This is just our method of living out the gospel through relationships. Eight to twelve adults will gather in a home or at the church for casual conversation about what Jesus is doing in their lives. We have a lot of fun and it is very easy-going.
