Description

Are you struggling to make ends meet? Does your checkbook have more red than black? Beginning Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., South Bay Bible Church, 578 Montauk Highway, East Moriches, will begin a six-part teaching series to help people who want to get Back in the Black with a biblical foundation for personal finance.
• If you don’t know where your money goes, your finances may be in the RED.
• If you argue with your spouse about money, your finances may be in the RED.
• If your month lasts longer than your money, your finances may be in the RED.
In this 6-part study, you will be challenged to examine what you really believe about finances and faith. In fact, Jesus said more about money than any other subject except love. Can you survive without debt? Are you content with what you have? Are you giving God your leftovers? Back in the Black will cover what the Bible says about money.
“This study is filled with insightful perspectives and practical exercises to build a biblical foundation for your finances,” said Martin Hawley, senior pastor. “If you see RED every time you open your checkbook, join us for Back in the Black.”

Part 1 of 6: Three Laws of Personal Finance (Matthew 6:21; Luke 16:13) – July 25: If you violate the laws of balance in your finances, nothing happens immediately, and that’s the problem. If there were immediate consequences, we would make corrections immediately. In this lesson, we will not only learn the three laws of personal finance, but we will also learn how to apply them.
