Sermon Date: November 24, 2019
Speaker: Pastor Martin Hawley
Do you ever get frustrated when the abundant life Jesus promised doesn’t seem to be your reality? This series presents five keys to help you grow in your faith, discover true abundant life, and get fresh hope for daily living.
There’s a direct link between obedience to God and joy in life. Living for God the way He designed is where one finds true satisfaction and purpose in life. “In lofty theological terms, we call this sanctification,” says Matt Horne, associate pastor, “but in real life, we just call it growing up.”
Whether you consider yourself a church person or not, consider this five-part series, #Adulting, as Pastors Martin Hawley and Matt Horne seek to clarify what it means to be planted and to grow in Christ.
Part 4 of 5: Living Sent (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 10:13-15; Acts 1:8) – November 23-24: Many people can remember the final words of a loved one who recently passed away. Jesus’ final words before ascending into Heaven became known as the Great Commission. The church is called to go and bring hope to all people because of Christ. This could mean crossing an ocean or crossing your cubicle.
